Purpose, Vision and Objectives of the Network

Purpose:

A collaborative UK network of professionals involved in the management of clubfoot working together to deepen UK wide collaboration, mentorship, training, research and succession.

Vision:

For every child with clubfoot in the UK to reach their potential through standardised care.

Objectives:

  • We will work as a collaborative of professionals to deliver training and mentorship and ensure succession planning

  • We will utilise data to drive the provision of the best services for children

  • We will develop pathways of care to remove any regional variations

  • We will ensure there is a safe forum for clinicians to discuss clinical problems

  • We will develop relationships so that parents and patients know that their voices are heard

  • We will provide a forum for discussion of relevant research based topics

  • We will support the development of the regional groups/ODNs

  • We will help facilitate and work towards the provision of timely and effective clubfoot management for every region.
